On The Way
Mad at the world
Piled up
A bit earlier.
We are so excited! We are having company come to visit us tomorrow. So we will be spending most of today racing around the house to clean everything up, chase out the field mice and shoo away any lingering hunters. I just wish we could get Gerome to stop staring out the window and give us a hand. It's like he has a chip on his shoulder or something. He makes it seem like there is just so much snow here, when if he looked out the other windows he would see there is hardly any left with this rain that we are getting today.

Still Safe From The Hunt
On guard for thee
Almost two months have gone by and of us are safe from the mighty hunters. It seems that hunters go foraging for moose like myself in September but as if to say that is not enough they go foraging again in November for deer. Deer look an aweful lot like myself which means I still have to hide out in the house here in the burg. I don't mind being inside all this time as I have lots of friends here to keep me company. Pig is doing a fine job watching out for the hunters, but I know that they are close by. Today I heard a shot fired in our back field and a mighty orange man drove by our window on a four wheeling vehicle. I hope that everyone in the back field is okay.

The Way Home?
Well, I am going to be alone for a while again! It has been great to have the company. Dorothea is leaving today for the long flight home, which is confusing when you have so many places to call home. I will count the days until when you all come back over the pond and see me. Meanwhile I might go out and help the guys work on the big barn. There is such a mess out back to clean up.

Nice To Look At
Lupins in a field by Kilarney
Other side of same field of Lupins
This field of lupins look really neat to look at when you drive by them. Full of vibrant purples, pinks and whites. But the downside of these flowers is that they spread like wildfire and dominate the fields and are super hard to get rid of when you grown to not like them anymore.
Great flowers... if, they are not yours.

Bush in bed behind house
It has been so boring staying in the house all day long. So, I went out and took these pictures to show you some of what is growing around the house. As you can see there are a lot of nice colors shaping up in the yard.
I have been trying to read up on the book about dry stonewall construction. I am just not too sure how much help I can be. There weren't many pictures and I have a hard time to read.
Maybe they do installation of stonewall at Home Depot!
Hope you come home soon. It is getting very hot and we actually have some sun to look at.
Truly,
Eddy
