On The Way

Mad at the world

Piled up

A bit earlier.

We are so excited! We are having company come to visit us tomorrow. So we will be spending most of today racing around the house to clean everything up, chase out the field mice and shoo away any lingering hunters. I just wish we could get Gerome to stop staring out the window and give us a hand. It's like he has a chip on his shoulder or something. He makes it seem like there is just so much snow here, when if he looked out the other windows he would see there is hardly any left with this rain that we are getting today.

Hello Eddy and Mike the Gnome,

very soon it will be "on the way" again! Right now in this very moemnt Dorothea is considering to book a flight.
The weather situation in Germany is rather strange. This is the warmest winter for many many years. The temperatures reach 15° Celsius, many bushes and trees already start to grow and bloom, the birds sing along, and many animals are really confused. This especially concerns those beasts which normally sleep through wintertime, like e.g. hedgehogs. Yesterday a bad storm came through and left a real mess. So, no good reason to stay here longer as necessary! Dorothea thinks she will come along around March 15, until mid april.
So, guys, you better get the cleaning business started! Get rid of all the empty whisky bottles and send your party girls home, for the boss is on her way SOON!

Regards from the Old World

Hi Eddy,

be aware that Doro has changed her plans. She comes on 14 February at 17.00 hours. So clean up the mess in the house and get rid of all the empty bottles and send the girls home!
I hope you enjoy her company. How are our great neighbours doing?
Take care
Heinz-Dieter

thank you for the heads up! this gave me plenty of free time to scoop out all of the snow from the driveway. except for the big wall of boxes of books the house cleaned up well. Well, I better sit at the table and pretend to read that magazine on wall building you left while I wait for Dorothea to arrive

Hi Eddy,

get up you sleepy old moose! Heinz-Dieter is coming next Saturday - be prepared. The weather is getting much better, so we can do a great job on the stonewall. Hope you are strong enough to get all the big stones to a wall together.
Did you see our great neighbours? I am shure they are very keen you built a stonewall for them as well.
Looking forward to seeing you Eddy
Heinz-Dieter
